This black van has been around for days circling the protest. He has gonna down this street 3 times so far antagonizing the protesters left in the park while driving sporadically and recording on him phone
Chanting "I can't breathe."
More than 100 people out here taking a moment of silence for the people whose names are on the boarded up windows

A few minutes past midnight, and the police haven't shown. Some of the group is moving onto the memorial at the apple store
Protesters back outside the justice center chanting "wake the f..ck up." just realized that the building is even more boarded up somehow; all the doors and corridors are just sheets of plywood now

This car accelerated at protesters right before the video starts. Someone threw a glass or something at the window and then the driver and passenger got out, saying something about a kid being in the car. They eventually sped off
Outside the police bureau (other side of the Justice Center). Crowd has blocked 2nd between Main and Madison
Folks in the back (on 2nd Ave) are standing in the street. Unlike last night, PPB doesn't seem to care
PPB saying it is 20 minutes until midnight, at which point the park will be closed. They gave this warning last night too, around 1 a.m. That was the first I had heard it, even though protesters have definitely been in the parks past midnight before

Protesters have a new plan: They protest in the street. PPB loudspeaker tells everyone to get on the sidewalk. They jump onto the sidewalk. Then, they slowly wander back into the street. They're all back in the street now.
Snack van guy is out of jail and back at the Justice Center
The Justice Center where there is food cooking, music playing, and some people yelling that we should march. Others not sure where they're going, or opposed, yelling, "Our fight is here."

Another group is protesting outside @PortlandPolice near 2nd/ Main. We saw them move from the Justice Center. Police told them to get out of the roadway and demonstrators moved to the sidewalk. This is not the group at Jefferson HS.

One protester is running and screaming "do not go across the bridge" over and over and over again. The crowd stops

In the car heading home when flashing lights by JC. Police announcing that it's after midnight so city parks are closed. Ordering crowd to go home
Back at the park: "Those people down there are not with us. They want to start a war. We're not doing that shi* tonight."
Officers are conducting arrests on SW 3rd Ave between SW Main and SW Madison St. Do not interfere with officers so they can safely perform their duties.
The police continue to order the crowd to stay in the park. Most of the group has moved to the park, others have just left. The crowd is definitely shrinking in part due to conflicts between protesters
