2 year agoMarchers smashed out the windows of a vacant building on the corner of Albina and Rosa Parks Way as they started marching from Peninsula Park. That appears to be the only vandalism we can see from this brief demonstration
2 year agoThe crowd has walked down Roosevelt a few times now and have taken a seat in the middle of the intersection at 3rd street and Roosevelt. PHX PD is currently blocking all lanes of traffic

On 2nd alarm fire 1200 block SW Alder. This was a room and contents fire in a 5th floor apartment unit that did not extend beyond the unit, fire was extinguished within 8 minutes of initial crews' arrival. Incident has been recalled, no injuries, cause under investigation

Crews on scene of fire in back of commercial building on 600 blk NE Broadway. This was a trash fire that extended to the building. Incident has been recalled, 4 crews remaining on scene finishing up extinguishment. No injuries, cause under investigation
2 year agoODF firefighters have contained several small grassfires that were ignited as a result of a structure fire on the 200-block of Blue Water Lane in Murphy. The two wildland fires were each stopped at 1/10th of an acre.
