3 years ago A sedan & 5 Salem police cruisers sit out in the open, at the scene of a deadly police shooting. Happened around 12:30 a.m. in NE Salem's Northgate Park. Police say it started when a driver fled a traffic stop. The driver is dead, & a dog is injured following "a confrontation"

3 years agoOn NE 15th & Broadway a vehicle has crashed into the Bar name "Capital" & destroyed some of the building. The brick built corner has crumbled on top of the car that crashed. Appears a 2nd car was involved. Tow trucks were on the scene

3 years ago PF&R responded to reported house fire in 2300 blk SE 104th Dr. Small fire on exterior of house caused by christmas lights that caught fire. Fire quickly extinguished, minimal damage to house. Please ensure any decorative lighting is in good shape and unplug it when not needed
