1 year agoCrews were able to get the fire under control fairly quickly upon arrival. According to @PDXFire, a crew from the facility where the pile is located will be using a backhoe to dig down into the pile to extinguish any lingering hot spots

1 year agoA shooting has @PortlandPolice looking for whoever fired more than 70 shots. Bullets hit 3 cars and 1 building in the area of SE 9th and SE Division St just before 3am on Saturday. But no injuries were reported.
Crews on scene of residential fire with heavy fire showing from structure on arrival, 14100 blk E Burnside. Fire has been knocked down, house searched, no victims found, one person who was apparently in the involved house is refusing medical treatment. Cause under investigation
1 year agoCrews are continuing to spray water into the SW 14th/Taylor apartment building that caught fire nearly 12 hours ago. As we pulled up, we saw flames in the SE corner of the building. Things are getting very smoky around the fire site again @KOINNews

1 year agoA man is dead after exchanging gunfire with @ClackCoSheriff deputies. Late Saturday night, officers chased the suspect after a shooting where a man was injured on SE 82nd Dr. He pointed out the suspect car as it fled the scene.
1 year agoAn Oregon fired 6 shots from the living room at his house at the elementary school across the street during what police described as a mental health crisis;. No injuries. 7 firearms were seized from his home under extremely protection order and will not be returned to him
